The launch marks the company’s first official healthcare-specific PaaS offering

hybrid cloud solutions

This week, managed dedicated and cloud solutions provider, BlackMesh announced that it will continue providing technology solutions to the health care market by launching its HIPAA-compliant Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution. The company says that the cloud offering is designed to meet the specific technical and regulatory needs of the health care industry.

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a set of standards that apply to organizations involved in healthcare and who store patients’ records. To achieve HIPAA certification, companies have to undergo third-party auditing.

BlackMesh claims that its private health care cloud solution meets the requirements of the health care industry and provides the necessary security for important medical data, including Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and other healthcare applications.

Eric Mandel, President, BlackMesh said :

We’re thrilled to officially launch a cloud solution that serves the healthcare community’s unique and complex needs – such as cost savings and secure high-volume data storage.

By offering a compliant and secure cloud platform for managing and maintaining data, BlackMesh is helping the health services industry better collaborate and serve the public.
