Zeta Interactive acquires Acxiom’s email services unit

The enterprise SaaS company claims this acquisition will help it accelerate its data-driven marketing activities

Zeta Interactive, the SaaS-based marketing cloud provider announced this week that it has acquired Acxiom’s email services unit, Acxiom Impact. With this acquisition, Zeta Interactive says that they will now have more than 1,300 employees operating in 25 offices across four continents.

The company claims that combining with Acxiom Impact transforms them into a top-tier player in the marketing cloud sector. The combined company will work with brands in varied verticals, including retail, financial services, communications, automotive and insurance, among others.

David A. Steinberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Zeta commented on the deal :

Zeta say that this acquisition is the largest in its history and builds on the company’s 2015 purchase and integration of eBay Enterprise’s CRM division, encompassing an enterprise grade ESP and Data Services business.
