Veeam introduces Availability Platform for Hybrid Cloud

The company announces the new platform saying it dramatically expands its market penetration

hybrid cloud solutions

Veeam, a Switzerland based back up and disaster recovery technology developer has introduced a Veeam Availability Platform for Hybrid Cloud on Tuesday, along with several updates to the Veeam Availability Suite in Boston.

The Veeam Availability Platform for Hybrid Cloud is basically a combination of all the company’s products including its Availability Suite, Veeam Cloud Connect, Agents and Orchestration Software. The company says the platform allows enterprise continuity, workload mobility and visibility while bringing recovery times to near zero.

Dan Bergeron, Partner at SkyTerra said :

The most important thing about the new products is that it gives SkyTerra a way to provide customers a unified back-up and recovery solution as they move to the cloud.

SkyTerra say that they have been selling Veeam since October and expect to do about $1 million in business with the company.

Veeam says :

By 2019, most organisations around the world will need to complete the shift to a predominantly cloud-based IT environment, and this places a huge pressure on availability tools to deliver a constant experience across multiple environments.
