Cloud software provider Teradici has partnered with Google Cloud to allow customers to deploy as well as manage secure and high-performance virtual workstations, by leveraging the former’s PCoIP (PC over IP) technology. As per the terms of the deal, enterprises can migrate their applications and workloads to cloud environments without using cloud-rewriting or transformation software.

According to Teradici, enterprises are increasingly looking for a secure and global infrastructure to support cloud environments and catapult their business. They believe that sophisticated technology has a huge part to play when it comes to managing critical workloads on the cloud.

By partnering with Google Cloud, Teradici believe that building secure workstations on the cloud will become much easier. They say that users of Google Cloud can leverage Teradici’s PCoIP technology that allows users to ‘lift and shift’ applications without compressing them into compatible formats.

Speaking about the launch, Dan Cordingley, CEO of Teradici, commented:

We are thrilled that for the first time, companies currently using or exploring Google Cloud can now tap into the power of our PCoIP technology, which enables them to easily build secure, high-performance, virtual workspaces and transition workloads to Google Cloud.

Making our Cloud Access Software available to Google Cloud users was a clear next step in our partnership as more organizations today require ultra-secure access to graphics-intensive applications from the cloud.
