Stratoscale acquires Database-as-a-Service provider Tesora

The company also released a relational database service to enhance its cloud offerings

Stratoscale, the cloud infrastructure company announced that it has acquired Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) provider Tesora. In addition, the company also announced the availability of a fully-managed relational database service (RDS) to accelerate delivery of cloud services.

Tesora says that its DBaaS platform will enhance Stratoscale’s capabilities in delivering database services for an on-premise AWS region, addressing market demand for various services.

Stratoscale added that enterprises and service providers trust the Tesora DBaaS platform to offer secure cloud access to popular databases and the platform includes features that support the management of seventeen certified databases.
