Data protection firm Rubrik has launched a cloud-based SaaS platform ‘Polaris’ in a bid to help enterprises streamline their business data. With this launch, Rubrik seeks to diversify their product portfolio by offering a control, search, orchestration and application of data intelligence through their unified platform.
According to Rubrik, organizations need a unified platform which allows them to conduct multiple data management activities to make better business decisions. They also claim that most solutions provided to enterprises work in a silo, affecting the performance of the applications. Hence, Rubrik say that they launched ‘Polaris’ to bridge this gap.
Rubrik say that with the help of Polaris, developers will be able to leverage APIs for search, workflow orchestration and global content to deliver high-value data management applications. They also claim that these applications will address risk-mitigation, compliance and governance issues within the enterprise.
Speaking about the launch, Bipul Sinha, Co-founder and CEO at Rubrik, commented:
What is so unique about Rubrik Polaris is that it delivers a single system of record across all business information. We are delivering a new class of data management applications that will allow enterprises, for the first time, to address all segments of the business for compliance, governance, and security.
Talking about the one key advantage provided by Polaris, Rubrik said that the platform will allow users to pinpoint potential issues and tackle them as per their priority. Some of Rubrik’s clients are looking forward to add this platform to their enterprise, say Rubrik.
Explaining the same, Lev Goronshteyn, CTO at CarePoint Health, commented:
We are excited to leverage Polaris GPS’s advanced data visualizations to instantly identify compliant and performant apps at-a-glance and in real-time.
As we continue to expand our Rubrik footprint across all our hospitals, Polaris GPS provides one simple and intuitive interface delivered through SaaS to monitor and analyze all our physical, virtual, and cloud applications.
