Cloud network service provider Panzura have launched a multi-cloud SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) platform called Vizion.ai to allow users to audit, index, replicate and analyse files stored on the cloud. With this launch, Panzura aims to enable customers to meet requirements for data search, analytics, and governance in a multi-cloud world.

According to Panzura, their cloud-based storage file system synchronizes metadata in real time across multiple sites, with Docker, a software container engine that pulls applications from hardware and bundles them together. They say that this activity makes for better performance without having to compromise on speed or security of the applications.

By launching Vizion.ai, Panzura claim that they will be able to store and replicate files that are useful for research, analytics and governance in multi-cloud environments. They say that Panzura’s customers will be able to gain data access along with performance insights to drive their work-based applications in the cloud.

Speaking about the launch, Patrick Harr, CEO at Panzura, commented:

Vizion.ai is the result of over two years of intense R&D innovation to build a hyper-scale, multi-cloud data engine with embedded machine learning and analytics.

This breakthrough SaaS platform addresses a [growing] market by enabling enterprise customers and third-party developers to meet the most demanding requirements for data search, analytics, and governance in a multi-cloud world.
