Managed service facilitator Mission have entered into a strategic alliance with cloud solution provider CloudCheckr. With this deal, Mission will leverage CloudCheckr’s cloud management platform that will provide business insights and automation to enterprises using Mission’s Cloud Intelligence Platform, helping them take critical decisions quickly.

According to Mission, enterprises deploying cloud require an all-in-one platform that provides vital insights and automatic data-backups. They say that these tenets form an important part of a cloud platform which helps organizations set higher performance benchmarks with respect to cloud maintenance.

By partnering with CloudCheckr, Mission claim that they will be able to provide a host of services like application performance, security instrumentation, automated maintenance, automated backups, and active monitoring for cloud. They further added that this platform will enhance Mission’s managed service portfolio to optimize the cloud requirements of customers.

Jonathan LaCour, CTO at Mission, commented:

CloudCheckr’s partner-focused platform – coupled with the particularly rich cloud optimization tools it provides – makes it a perfect pairing for both us and our enterprise customers.

Combined with CloudCheckr’s ability to optimize on costs while delivering compliant security and automation features, we believe our customers will be that much more pleased by both their invoices and their cloud performance as a direct result of this partnership.

Mission say that they were drawn to CloudCheckr’s ability to deliver value across the entire cloud-ecosystem. They say that their cloud management personnel will utilize CloudCheckr’s platform to automate the application of Mission’s robust tooling resources and achieve necessary cloud optimization goals.

Aaron Newman, founder and CEO of CloudCheckr, commented:

Our partners work closely with us to help enterprise IT and finance teams make the most out of their cloud investment.

That’s why it’s so critically important for trusted managed service providers like Mission to fill the cloud skills gap, making sure an organization has the expertise it needs to succeed in the cloud native environment set to dominate the future of information technology systems.

As the managed cloud service market takes center stage, market analysts predict that many cloud solution providers will be sealing such alliance deals. It will be interesting to see how Mission leverages this deal, following the acquisition of Zumasys by NexusTek.
