Dutch web hosting company HostSlim has acquired U.S based VPS and hosting provider HostSlayer to expand into overseas markets. With this acquisition, HostSlim will provide U.S base customers with unique offerings and penetrate the U.S market, intensifying competition in their segment.

HostSlim say that they are completely aware of the competition in the SMB business segment for hosting providers. They further added that they chose HostSlayer after carefully monitoring their position in the market and scrutinizing their offerings in the market.

According to HostSlim, the acquisition deal will have no effect on the respective customers and clients of both the parties, with business continuing as usual. Explaining the acquisition in detail, Ralph Karseboom, CEO and Founder of HostSlim B.V. commented:

HostSlayer will be a great addition to our brand and plans to expand more internationally. We know there is a lot of international competition, but we are aware that with our service and quality we are guaranteed a great place in the market.

HostSlayer say that with this acquisition, they plan to add new products and services such as dedicated servers in the second quarter of 2018. In closing, they said that the terms of the acquisition deal will remain undisclosed and HostSlayer will continue operating under the same brand name in the market.
