Co-location and cloud facilitators Flexential have launched a software-defined platform FlexAnywhere in a bid to allow customers to connect their infrastructure to hyper-scale cloud networks. With this launch, Flexential aims to enable customers with high capacity, low latency and secure services through a single platform.

According to Flexential, businesses face obstacles while connecting to multiple cloud networks as well as managed service providers. They say that this hinders businesses from fast-tracking their goals and meet the needs of customers.

By launching FlexAnywhere, Flexential say that customers can leverage the flexibility provided by the platform in terms of connectivity with multiple networks and cloud providers such as AWS, Google and Microsoft. They say that the business will be able to reap the benefits of the cloud without compromising on speed, capacity and security.

Speaking about the launch, Chris Downie, CEO of Flexential, commented:

We are committed to helping our customers overcome interconnection complexities and connect them to any location.

With the launch of FlexAnywhere, our customers can bypass the public internet and use a single interface to directly connect their infrastructure to hyperscale cloud providers, back office platforms and internal customer data centers over a private and secure network.

Industry experts opine that this launch will not only allow businesses to scale their cloud environments quickly but also help them accelerate their business goals. It will be interesting to witness how Flexential’s customers make the most out of FlexAnywhere.
