This week, Netherlands-based domain marketplace Undeveloped.com, through its blog announced that it has been acquired by US registrar, Epik. The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Undeveloped said that it will continue to operate as an independent subsidiary of Epik.

Undeveloped said in a statement:

By joining Epik we feel we can do so much more for you (customers) and that’s been a very important motivation for us to join forces with Epik.

Undeveloped announced that they have started integrating Epik’s core technology directly at Undeveloped to create a full-service marketplace that they claim will go beyond just buying and selling domains. Epik users can also sign in at Undeveloped with their Epik credentials and will be allowed to import their domains easily.

Undeveloped also added that it will be rolling out new features for customers after the acquisition which will include a full-service domain registration, management and monetization suite, automated domain renting and leasing, and more secure services.
