CyberArk have announced the general availability of CyberArk Privilege Cloud, a privileged access-security-as-a-service offering. By unveiling this service, CyberArk aims to fortify their cloud-security portfolio and provide businesses with an effective and economical solution to shield them from internal as well as external security threats.

According to CyberArk, usage of administrative privileges is a suggested measure by CIS (Center for Internet Security) to protect organizations from all kinds of security threats. They believe that many businesses are restricted when it comes to IT resources because of limited budgets and dependency on old-school solutions.

By launching their secure privileged cloud offering, CyberArk say that they will be providing businesses an economical option with a dedicated focus on security risks. With this service, CyberArk claim that they will be storing and isolating credentials, monitoring sessions and quickly deliver mitigation tactics to reduce business risks.

Speaking about this launch, Roy Adar, Senior Vice President, Product Management at CyberArk, commented:

Continuous innovation that provides rapid risk reduction for our customers is a priority for CyberArk. CyberArk Privilege Cloud reinforces this commitment by enabling organizations to focus dedicated resources and attention on mitigating privileged access risks while reducing the need to operate and deploy the underlying technologies.

In closing, the security provider said that this newly launched service will complement their other offerings to give holistic solutions to their customers.
