ColoGuard opens new data center in Northern New Jersey

The company has acquired a 10,000 sq.ft. data center space to meet increased demand in the Northeast

Today, New York based co-location provider ColoGuard, announced the acquisition of 10,000 sq.ft. of data center space in Jersey City at 111 Town Square Place. The company claims that this step increases its total data center footprint to over 60,000 sq.ft.

ColoGuard claims that this addition will allow their current and future customers to have 24/7 access to an array of connectivity options from Tier 1 providers. Additionally, because the data center has been designated a Tier III facility, it is claimed to be an ideal choice for companies seeking disaster recovery capabilities.

It is said that businesses currently utilizing 111 TSP will reap benefits of ColoGuard’s wide range of Managed Services and the infrastructure has the ability to support a high-density server environment with a capacity of up to 12 megawatts of electricity.
