APC by Schneider Electric has entered into an alliance with U.S based IT infrastructure company Scale Computing to support APC’s Micro-Data Center Xpress solutions. According to this deal, APC by Schneider will be able to leverage Scale Computing’s HC3 hyper-converged solutions which provide overall automation to IT infrastructure by combining servers, storage, and virtualization in one entire system.

APC by Schneider say that the Micro-Data Center Xpress solutions, which is built for storage capacity, caters to many organizations in the retail, hospitality, education and shipping industries. They further added that with Scale Computing’s HC3 solutions, APC by Schnieder will easily be able to focus on managing applications for demanding customers instead of wasting resources on infrastructure.

Excited with the formation of this alliance, Cissy Walker, Global Director, IT Alliances at Schneider Electric said:

Working with Scale as an alliance partner supporting our Micro Data Center Xpress, we can ensure our customers the highest level of expertise when designing solutions to meet the needs of today’s data centers and distributed environments, while setting us up to address the biggest challenges of tomorrow.

According to Scale Computing, there is a huge demand for simplifying hybrid IT solutions. Echoing this thought, Jeff Ready, CEO of Scale Computing commented:

By using hyper-converged solutions to support remote and branch locations, and making the edge more intelligent in conjunction with a hybrid cloud model, organizations can support highly changeable applications. Deploying this micro data center solution from APC by Schneider Electric gives organizations the flexibility to quickly scale capacity and computing power at the edge. This saves time, money and resources, which will be a game changer for end users, channel partners and MSPs globally.
