Cloud behemoth Alibaba have launched eight products for the European market at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. With this array of products launched, Alibaba plan to empower European businesses with reliable and robust cloud and AI-based solutions, in a bid to help them seek growth opportunities.

According to Alibaba, the rapidly evolving cloud market in Europe has kept businesses on their toes with respect to adopting latest trends. The tech giant also added that this evolution has opened space for newer opportunities for enterprises looking to leverage the power of AI and cloud.

Alibaba say that the eight products they have launched cover categories like big data and AI, security, private cloud and infrastructure. They further added that these products will transform businesses in Europe and also lay a foundation for Alibaba’s strategy in the region.

Explaining this, Yeming Wang, General Manager of Alibaba Cloud, Europe, commented:

Alibaba Cloud wants to be an enabler for technology innovation in Europe helping enterprises do business.

The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona is a great opportunity for us refresh our European strategy and consider how we can make an increasing contribution to the digital transformation of enterprises in this market from different sectors with our offerings and expertise.

As per Alibaba, the big data and AI category will have three products namely- Product Image Search to search images online or offline, Intelligence Service Robot to support customer communications and Dataphine to cope with big data analysis for different businesses.

In addition to this, Alibaba said that the other products launched are- ECS Baremetal Instance, Super Computing Cluster, Cloud Enterprise Network (CEN), Vulnerability Discovery Service and Apsara Stack – all of which encompass the infrastructure, security and private cloud categories. They also claim that the proven success of these products in China will allow European markets to take full advantage of the same.

Explaining this, Wang added:

To meet their changing needs, we are able to leverage our practical experience of digital transformation and successes accumulated in China to the benefit of European enterprises.

These advanced solutions will enable organizations in a wide range of sectors and will bring them true connectivity, both locally and globally. For Alibaba Cloud, this is the true meaning of inclusive technology.
