Alibaba Cloud expands into Turkey

The expansion seeks to extend Alibaba’s global footprint by partnering with E-Globar.

Tech behemoth Alibaba Cloud have expanded into Turkey in a bid to extend their global footprint. With this expansion, Alibaba aim to leverage the local expertise of E-Globar to sell their cloud products and services in the growing Turkish market.

According to Alibaba, the Turkish market is open to reliable, cost-effective and powerful cloud computing solutions. They also say that businesses and organizations in the region are looking to open up to the world in order to transform themselves digitally.

Alibaba say that the alliance will give Turkish enterprises a wide range of cloud products and services ranging from elastic computing to big data and analytics. They further added that Alibaba Cloud will empower Turkish enterprises to achieve faster results with low latency and scale capacity based on real-time demands.

Speaking about the expansion, Yeming Wang, Deputy General Manager of Alibaba Cloud Global, commented:

We aim to become the preferred cloud service provider for all sizes of business in Turkey by providing a full range of cloud solutions and combining this with E-Glober’s local expertise.
