Qatar-based IT firm Meeza have unveiled Business Cloud in order to provide end-to-end managed services to enterprises in the Middle East. With this launch, Meeza aim to expand across different markets in the region to facilitate various products and services like MS 365, Azure Public Cloud, domain registration and managed security.

According to Meeza, enterprises in the Middle East are growing aware of the benefits of cloud and realise the importance of digital transformation. This awareness, Meeza claim, has opened up a market for cloud and tech organizations providing these services.

By launching Business Cloud, Meeza believe that they will be able to meet the requirements of environments that are looking to transform themselves digitally. They say that as a part of Business Cloud, Meeza will provide Microsoft Office 365, Azure Public Cloud, domain registration and managed security services by joining hands with CloudBlue and Microsoft.

Ghada Philip El Rassi, CEO at Meeza says that they have been building on the local capabilities and experiences of Meeza for many years and are happy to be in a position where they can meet the requirements of enterprises in the Middle East. He believes that Business Cloud will be a unique and comprehensive platform that provides every service in a bundle.

CloudBlue are pleased with this partnership and say that the deal will allow them to expand beyond the borders of Qatar. Isidoro Porquicho, Vice- President EMEA CloudBlue, claims that in a service driven world, it is important for enterprises to accelerate critical workloads and this launch will help them adapt and benefit from cloud-based solutions at a rapid pace.

Lana Khalaf, Country General Manager, at Microsoft Qatar claims that progressive enterprises in the Middle East will shape the future of the region and cloud is the way going forward if they have to walk hand-in-hand with global organizations. She says that Qatar’s telecom firm Gulf Bridge International will benefit from this deal since they will be able to access a worldwide trusted secure cloud platform like Azure.

It will be interesting to witness how Meeza’s expansion benefits enterprises in the Middle East, following Equinix and Omantel’s alliance to boost data center services.
